Unfortunately the Sony Ericsson P1i does not include an on-screen number pad for making calls. Worse, the letters on the keyboard are not representative of the standard mobile phone keyboard layout.

There may be a third-party application available to add this feature to the Sony Ericsson P1i. At this time I could not locate any software to fulfill this need.
