Grrr… sucks!
My brother pranked my phone this morning, you pick up and a girl comes on and starts talking dirty with you. She wants to meet and stuff. At the end of it you’re left wondering ‘what in hell’ until someone (usually witin the next minute, or end of the day) tells you it was an automated conversation; an MP3 played over the call to fool you.
For this to happen the caller’s phone must support playing audio during an in-call conversation, this is disabled by default on the Sony Ericsson P1i which means no pranking for the likes of us. I’ve sent a request to Sony Ericsson, hopefully this will be included in the next firmware upgrade. You also need to have Caller ID disabled so that the call comes up as Private Number. I don’t know how to do this as yet on the Sony Ericsson P1i. Anyone had better luck?
If… we get this feature released expect endless hours of laugh on your phone as you prank all your contacts that were out drinking/clubbing the night earlier. Hell, for an MP3 it’s a great way to see how your victims react to on-the-spot advances!
(as soon as this feature is introduced I will start hosting the files for sharing)

- I’m having trouble getting my (new) P1i to recognize that there’s music on my M2 card. I’m using the 1 GB M2 card that came with the phone; I’ve formatted the M2 card using the phone; and the music comes from a CD, and was ripped into mp3 format by the Sony Media Manager software. When I connect the phone to my computer, and drag the file into the M2 card, the computer shows the file being transferred to my M2 card, shows it being converted into mp3 format, and my computer states that the music is taking up space on the M2 card, but when I go into the P1i’s music player, click on MORE and then click on UPDATE MUSIC, it claims no music can be found. Could Digital Rights Management be the problem, is there a setting on my phone I never thought to change, or is it something else?
