Games and Applications on the Sony Ericsson P1i
Written by Michael Visser on December 18, 2007 – 9:29 pmGames on the P1i (UIQ 3) are out of this world, powered by Java and OpenGL environments. I’ve got a port of Lemmings, OpenGL golf and a variety of free (OMG?!) visually stunning programs.
There’s also a library of productivity software available from instant messengers (Fring, IM+) to in-car navigators (Tom Tom). Watch those battery levels though, with great possibilities come great demands on your battery!
Updates
- 01/03/2008: I’ve moved all themes to Features > Sony Ericsson P1i Themes (UIQ 3.1)
- 02/01/2008: Removing dead links, shifting themes to another page. Building library page for applications and themes.
- 17/11/2007: New files are up, I’m separating the free from the… err, not free. I’ll keep working on it, any suggesstions?
- 06/11/2007: Okay so just saying there’s cool stuff for the P1i is like teasing a child with sweets, here’s my favourite sources for themes, games and UIQ 3 compatible software… it’s a growing list.

nice work but maybe you could put step on how to put these applications in the p1i.thanks.
March 7th, 2008 at 6:21 pm
Hi Eunice,
That’s a really great idea. I’ve already created an FAQ on how to send and apply downloaded themes on your phone so this is a natural extension of this FAQ for installing applications.
I’ll get right onto it!

Great list.
I have installed the Oxford Concise Dict to my P1i (phone card) but I can’t find it on the phone menu. Any tips?
August 10th, 2008 at 1:19 pm
Hi Nic,
Open Main Menu and then check the Tools menu for your newly installed Oxford Concise Dictionary.
Any luck?
August 10th, 2008 at 1:57 pm
Thanks Michael,
Unfortunately no luck. Tools lists some other recently installed apps such as Dream Connect, but no sign of the Oxford dictionary.

Hey Michael.
Thank you so much for the free apps you’ve provided. I’ve searched endlessly with no luck until stumling upon this site. Thank you for the spirit of sharing and freeware.
Cheers.
